What information I collect

When commenting on HousewifeHowTos.com, you are asked for a username, email address and (optional) website address. Also, as with all websites, your IP address is recorded on the server. A cookie may be sent to your computer in this process to identify you as someone who’s previously visited the site, and for statistic tracking purposes. (e.g., To help me understand what posts are popular on this site, or what other websites are sending me traffic.)

What I do with your information

Frankly, not much. I don’t sell, rent, lease or share your information with anyone else. I may have third-party advertisers on the site who track things like your browser type, your Internet Service Provider’s country of origin, and what other websites you’ve come from or have visited. They do not collect personally identifiable information like your name, address, etc. and I never see that stuff. If sharing that kind of information bothers you, be sure to look up how to change your browser’s privacy settings so you can keep that information private.

Sometimes, to provide you with helpful information, I link to content on other websites. I have no control over, or access to, the information you share with them and am not responsible for their privacy policies. I do not share your information with them.
