Did you make a New Year’s Resolution to get a clean and organized home in 2016 but don’t know where to start? Your first step should be to give yourself a hearty pat on the back: deciding to get your home in order is one of the most rewarding gifts you can give to yourself and your family.
Get a Clean and Organized Home
Your second step? Get a copy of my book, 30 Days to a Clean and Organized House. With a day-by-day plan guiding you through every room, cupboard, and closet, you’ll know not just what to clean but how to clean it properly, even if you consider yourself “domestically challenged.”
What’s in the book?
In addition to detailed yet easy-to-follow instructions, you’ll find:
• A simple daily cleaning routine that will have your home looking clean and company-ready from Day One.
• Checklists guiding you through the larger projects like organizing your closet and pantry.
• 10 of my very best homemade cleaning mixes that will get every surface of your home sparkling without toxins or harsh chemical fumes.
• And, when you’re done, there’s a monthly plan to keep your home clean and organized in just a few minutes a day.
What Readers Say
When I wrote this book it was in the hope of making housework a little less overwhelming for busy people. I could never have expected the enthusiastic reception from people who’ve read and used my book to get a clean and organized home on their own schedule. Here are just a few of their reviews:
The structure and routine that I needed to whip things back into shape!
Helps You Form a Cleaning Routine You Can Actually Stick To!
I love this concept. Simple, concise and lots of smiles along the way.
Do it on your schedule
Although I wrote the book with a 30-day home transformation in mind, there is no reason why you have to do it all in 30 days. Want to work on it a little every day over the course of a couple of months? No problem. Start with Day One, do what you can, then come back to it again when you’ve got time. Meanwhile, the daily cleaning routine will keep things in order.
Listen, life is busy. I know that! I’m a stay-at-home mom so I know how hard it can be to find time to shower, much less clean house. That’s why my book breaks cleaning into tasks that build on each other, so you can fit cleaning and organizing in to your schedule.
Want to do it all in just 1 week? If you’ve got the time and energy you can do that, too!
No Magic Art Required
In my book, you aren’t going to find instructions to dump everything in your home in one huge pile. To me that’s just a recipe for wearing yourself out and still having a mess.
I won’t tell you to fold clothing in some new way that sounds great but leaves your drawers a mess unless you take another 5 minutes on laundry day to once again rearrange everything.
You won’t have to hold conversations with your possessions, either, though if you’re like me you probably have a few choice words for the clutter now and again.
What you’ll find is straight-forward, clear help to get a clean and organized home in 2016 and then keep it that way.
